Here is the screen shot you requested. I hope it helps.
These settings worked for me, but I didn't know it for a long time because Yahoo was rejecting my e-mails. It wasn't until I set the Yahoo filter to automatically send the mail from the no rely address to the inbox that I saw that things were working (i.e., e-mail was going out). I should note that mail in other e-mail clients came through fine (e.g., Hotmail) without filters.
The other thing I learned is that Yahoo has some other procedures that muddle things up if you try to use another address than the standard MOODLE noreply address. Please see this link: http://postmaster.yahoo.com/errors/postmaster-28.html.
There may be away around all this, but I am happy to use the noreply address for now and tell my students to set their e-mail filters. The semester is underway, so it works for immediate future I will try and tackle a work around during the holiday that will be less work intensive for the students. If anyone finds another, I'm always grateful for help.
Best wishes,
John
