We currently use Moodle in our school and have been using Google Auth for our learners to have 1 password for both Google and Moodle. Students are bulk uploaded at the start of term 1 so they can be enrolled in classes through Cohorts.
At the end of April Google has announced they're removing support for the current gauth plugin method (OpenID) and we need to migrate to oAuth or OpenID Connect, however I'm struggling to find a plugin to do this.
The existing google/facebook etc plugin appear to only work for new learners and the plugin creates the learners account - this won't work for us as we have an already large number of learners in the system.
The OpenID plugin which is available and appears mainly for use with Office 365 I've tried to configure for google however it throws me the following error:
Error: invalid_request
Missing required parameter: redirect_uri
Looking for any suggestions on how we can continue to use google as an authentication method post the end of April, surely there are other users in this same situation?
