The error message you're getting - "Resource id #16', Bind result:" - indicates that an attribute specified in your LDAP settings does not exist.
Can you confirm that you're using MS AD as your LDAP server? I realise your title suggest that you are, but thought to confirm, just in case. If you're using something other than MS AD, the user attribute may not be 'samAccountName', rather it could be something like 'uid', 'userPrincipalName', 'mail', etc.
Similarly, member attribute might be something like 'uniquemember', it's definitely not going to be 'samaccountname'
Your LDAP administrator should be able to help.
